Membership CriteriaDepending on current class or grade, students are eligible for induction into the National Beta Club as either a Junior Beta (Grades 7-8) or Senior Beta (Grades 9-12) depending upon the following criteria:

Awards and Recognition"Recognizing our members for academic achievement is not the sole purpose of our organization. We also want to further recognize them for their accomplishments aligning with all four areas we promote: achievement, character, leadership and service." --Mrs. Callaway - Adviser

Service and Fundraising Projects
Veterans Day Volunteers - Assisted with local Veterans Day assembly presentation and reception.
Thanksgiving Food Drive - Provide Niangua Food Pantry with canned goods for Thanksgiving meal giveaways.
December Christmas Assistance - Adopted a Webster County family and provided Christmas gifts to three anonymous Niangua students.
Character Education Committee - Present elementary students various character traits on a monthly basis.
Winter Dance - Provide elementary students with extra-curricular activities for a small fee.
Fall and Spring Carnival Fundraising
Health Fair Volunteers - Assisted local health organizations with presentation of information to local elementary students.
